Dear Reader,

Sixty-six posts and twenty times as many photographs later, I find it difficult to bring down the curtain.

I cannot express how grateful I am, over the past few months, to have been given exciting material, a space to write, and most importantly, readers. A million thanks to everyone who has enjoyed the adventures of Captain Byron A. Wentworth, Keats Wentworth, and Valentina.

If you come across this blog, I entreat you to ruffle through the pages to the older posts instead of keeping an eye out for new ones. These posts will not become obsolete any time soon. Start from the beginning — before London in January — and take the journey with us from the neighboring counties of England to Scotland, Germany, Hungary, Czech Republic, Greece, and France. I do not have any travel plans in the near future, but if Keats and Valentina update me on theirs, I will be sure to let you know.

To date, Adventures with Captain Wentworth has garnered 1,834 views spread across 6 continents.

The readership has grown from month to month, and now the blog is equipped with a repertoire that guarantees at least a few clicks a day through search engines.

More exciting still is the colorful list of flags I have watched grow day by day, since WordPress began tracking views by country on February 25.
It goes without saying that I am immensely proud of this project and I will look back on it with love. My dearest hope is that you, too, will think of all our adventures fondly.

Yours truly,
D. H.
